Mission
The purpose of the sanctuary is to provide rescue horses with shelter, medical aid, care, food, and protection, to act as a placement agency for horses in good health, and to provide education for the humane care of horses to prevent neglect and cruelty.

Virtual Adoptions
Virtual adoption is a fantastic way to show your love for our horses! It’s ideal for those who may be short on time or funds, or for anyone who lives far away but still wants to make a difference in a rescue horse’s life. Sponsorships
Full Sponsorship ($200/mo.)

- Sponsorship covers the cost of 1 bag of feed per week.
Full Hay Donor $265/mo. (winter months)
- Interact with horses in the barn
- Pays for 2 Hay rounds.
Be a Medical Sponsor
Medical sponsors help with the yearly cost of the Equine Wellness Program, which is $265 per year per horse.
It includes the following items:
- Annual physical exam, dental exam, nutrition & parasite control counseling
- Annual Digital Coggins Test
- Annual Rabies Vaccine
- Fall & Spring vaccines
Farrier Services
Help us with the cost of the Farrier Services. The cost for each horse is generally $65 for these services. However, a few of the horses need sedation to have this service performed, which costs additional fees. If you would like to make a donation to this service, please use the secure link below.
Volunteer Opportunities
Barn Refurbishment
Each Sunday from around 1-5pm, enthusiastic volunteers gather to joyfully tackle projects and make essential barn repairs, contributing to a wonderful community effort!
Stable Maintenance
Every day from 1 to 5 p.m., passionate volunteers are welcomed to join us in the rewarding experience of cleaning stable stalls and taking on various tasks around the barn. Your dedication can make a real difference in creating a nurturing environment for our beloved animals!
Horse husbandry/care
Every day between 1-5pm, we invite our volunteers to join us in the exhilarating experience of grooming a horse and engaging in various meaningful tasks around the barn. Your dedication can make a world of difference in these majestic animals’ lives!
Willow Woods Equine Sanctuary & Farm
